Born in 1977 in Athens, Greece, I studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts during which I spend a year at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles on a scholarship. Following graduation I worked in graphic art and taught art in schools. The birth of my first child led me back to painting. I began with his portraits, and later painted my second child as well.
After relocating to the United States in 2020, I paused my work. In 2025, I returned to painting, working primarily in oil. Now based in Idaho, I continue to develop my work in this new setting. Pictured: At the village fountain on the island of Evia, Greece, 2024 |
