JOURNAUX INTIMES (2006)
Journaux Intimes is a body of work that developed during the final year of studies at the Athens School of Fine Arts and culminated in the presentation of a series of site-specific installation works along with an artist's book, comprising my Thesis. The project, departing from the literary work of Charles Baudelaire, explores the potential of poetry's visual interpretation. Translating words into abstract forms and interpreting the rhythm of poetry into a visual rhythm of form and space, the project is comprised of installation work, two artist's books and photographic/digital work. |
