All the students of the school (over 200) participated in the project. Age group 12-15 |

After Picasso's Guernica, group painting project Art teaching 3.6 m x 1.8 m, house paint on canvas Greek Public High School October 2009 Painting project after Picasso's Guernica involving the creation of a large scale group painting interpreting the original work as well as individual paintings made by the students, interpretations of Guernica in color. All the students of the School (over 200) participated in the project. The large scale group painting of Guernica was featured in the October 28 School celebration of Greece's "NO" to the Nazis in 1940. After the celebration the work was permanently installed in one of the School's classrooms. Age group 12-15 |

Karagiozis Traditional Theatre group art project Art teaching Greek Public High School May 2010 Group project involving the creation of the School's own Traditional Karagiozis Theatre (Berdes), and the painting of the students' own versions of the Karagiozis Theatre characters and poster creation to advertise the play in the city of Plomari. The Plomari High School in Lesvos. Age group 12-15 |

After Theophilos, group painting project
Art teaching 3.6 m x 2 m, house paint on canvas Greek Public High School March 2009 Group painting project based on a work by Theophilos, an early 20th century self-taught painter from Lesvos. The project involved the group painting of a large scale painting on canvas and the painting of individual portraits of the 1821 Greek Revolution fighters. All the students of the School (over 200) participated in the project. The large scale painting served as backdrop during the March 25 School celebration of the 1821 Greek Independence Day and was afterwards permanently installed in one of the School's classrooms. Age group 12-15 |
